Kathleen M. Heideman is a writer-artist-environmentalist, recipient of the 'Freshwater Hero' award (Freshwater Future 2018), and the author of Psalms of the Early Anthropocene (Winter Cabin Books 2017). Heideman has completed numerous artist residencies with watersheds, forests, foundations, the National Park Service, and the National Science Foundation’s Antarctic Artists & Writers Program. She is drawn to wild and threatened places, and works to defend them. Curious woman.
