I began my art “career” in retirement, while hiking and photographing the beautiful natural sights of the Upper Peninsula.  This led to artistic experimentation which taught me that I loved being creative and trying new techniques.  Today my mixed media use includes photography, watercolor, oil, acrylic, graphite, colored pencil, pastel chalk, batik, and more.  Plein air painting in the company of artist friends has added a great deal of enjoyment and satisfaction to life in the last several years.
