Gail Galotta

Gail Galotta was born and raised in Chicago. After a career in teaching, she moved to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, where she became a columnist for a local newspaper. She has written plays, short stories, and poetry. She was named "Best Emerging Writer" by the Michigan Writers Association in 2008. Most recently she published her first book, Views from My Boathouse
