John Taylor is an author, artist, and activist based out of Marquette, Michigan. John was born in Caro, Michigan, in 1983 and has resided in Marquette county since 2007. John earned a certificate in creative writing from Stratford Career Institute, and is currently the editor of the newsletter for the Alger/Marquette affiliate of National Alliance on Mental Illness(NAMI). His Poetry, Fiction, and Essays have appeared in The Mythic Circle, the Marquette Monthly, The Dieselpunk e-Pulp Showcase Vol. 2, and the Northcare Network quarterly newsletter. Additionally, John's illustrations have appeared in the Abilene Reflector-Chronicle Newspaper, 

savethewildup.org and swordsandsorcerymagazine.com's websites, and in many local flyers and 'zines. His artistic inspirations include H.P Lovecraft, William Blake, Edgar Allan Poe, Lewis Carroll, and H.R. Giger. John's works deal with dreamlike themes of the dark and fantastic. He currently resides in north Marquette with his wife, Miriam.
