Gala Malherbe lives in Marquette with her husband and three children. Her kids have been a great source of joy and inspiration for her. Besides writing, her interests include running, skiing, birding, gardening, hiking, camping, backpacking... Basically, she loves to be outside. She has worked for over 20 years as a physical therapist in home care and continues to find this role both worthwhile and rewarding. She greatly appreciates the support and friendship of the local poet community. Over the years, she has participated in several readings, exhibits and events and is looking forward to many more.
