Herstory - the Women Who Inspire Us is a Marquette Poets Circle Interactive Display. Poets were challenged to create on the theme: the women who inspires us. See the exhibit program below.

The Marquette Poets Circle welcomes poets of all ages and experience level.  Find us on our public Facebook page or at our website: https://marquettepoetscircle.wordpress.com/

 

The artwork and poems will be exhibited from Oct. 1st to Oct 30th in the Lower Gallery at Peter White Public Library, 217 N. Front St. Marquette MI 49855. There will be a reception for the poet/artists on Oct. 12th with music at 6PM followed by a reading from 7-8 PM in the Lower Gallery.

 

Each artwork will be labelled with a QR code. Viewers can listen to the poets read their work, hear about the subjects of the artworks and view this virtual gallery by scanning the code with a mobile device.

The public is encouraged to submit their own Herstories in the gallery or online at  Tell Us Your Herstory. Online submissions will be posted to the Virtual Gallery.
