MARTY ACHATZ is a two-time U. P. Poet Laureate.  He is a Contingent Professor in the English Department at Northern Michigan University.  He also serves as the Adult Programming Coordinator for Peter White Public Library.  He has published the poetry collection The Mysteries of the Rosary with Mayapple Press and the spoken-word album Slow Dancing with Bigfoot with the band STREAKING IN TONGUES.  His second spoken-word album, Christmas with Bigfoot, will be released in December 2021.
